A free program that lets you get the MD5 code for any file.

dsMD5 is a small utility (just 6KB) whose function is very similar to that of dsSHA. In this case it gets the MD5 code for any file. To be able to use it just drag the file in question to the program and it will show you all the information relating to it.

With the code that dsMD5 gives you, you have 2 possibilities: copy it directly to the clipboard so that it can be used in other applications, or generate a text file whose content is that code. The information on the MD5 code is useful to detect if that file has been attacked by a virus or hacker.

dsMD5 is totally free and requires no installation.
